MPT (MyMarq® Personality Test)

The MyMarq® Personality Test (MPT) is an innovative personality test based on the fingertips’ lines. The MPT is comparable to a SWOT Analysis, just on a personal level.

It consists of two simple equations which reveal

1- Internal Elements: Strengths and Weaknesses
2- External Elements: Potentials and Challenges

Internal and External Elements

The Internal and External Elements are the key to our innate personality traits, giving access to our subconscious. The knowledge, awareness, and acceptance of these Elements help us be more balanced, self-confident, tolerant and responsible. The influence of the education, family, culture, school, religion, institution, social beliefs etc. on the Elements constitutes an important part during the consulting sessions.

01

Internal

The Internal Elements shed light on how we think, feel and connect. The MPT distinguishes five personality Profiles: Pleaser, Achiever, Mediator, Enthusiast and Defender. An individual may have more than one Profile. Each Profile encompasses Strengths and Weaknesses. For example, a Pleaser’s Strengths are to be: Empathetic, Receptive, Sensitive, Affectionate, Supporting, Curious, Optimistic, Adaptable, Kind, Sociable, Idealistic. The Weaknesses instead are to be Moody, Susceptible, Delicate, Intolerant, Biased, Naïve, Anxious, Chatty, Doubtful, Worried, Complicated, Insecure. For each Profile, the MPT delivers concrete advice for the day to day life, helping to develop the Strengths and learning how to manage the Weaknesses.
02

External

The External Elements reveal the Potentials and Challenges, dissecting why we act and behave in a certain way in connection with our immediate environment, represented by family members, friends, school, sport, hobbies, career, professional life etc. An individual may have up to nine Potentials and maximum five Challenges.
Potentials: Doing – Leading – Organising – Performing – Communicating – Supporting – Motivating – Mentoring – Innovating – Catalysing
03

Challenges:

Inhibiting – Doubting – Opposing – Hiding – Speechless – Withdrawing – Enduring – Guilty – Undervaluing – Surrendering
The knowledge, awareness and acceptance help to develop the Potentials and manage the Challenges.
